Our Programs
There are 4 separate children’s rooms at John Street. The allocation of these rooms is determined by the need for care of the current families and the number of children in each age group requiring care.
John Street currently offers weekly Music and Movement(Tuesday Mornings) this additional program that is charged on a term-by-term basis. Our Kinder aged children engage in a Sport program in term, 1 and 4 in Frank King Park. You will find more information on this in the Parent Information Handbook.
A Typical Day
Generally each day will follow a similar structure, customised to the development needs of each room. Detailed daily routine outlines are displayed in each room and we welcome you to view these at the centre.

Activities set as per programs in each room. Children assist in setting up programs. Family grouping time. |
8.30am - 9.00am |
Children return to own rooms. Participate in planned experiences. |
9.45am |
Morning tea. |
11.30am - Noon |
Lunch time. |
Noon - 2.00pm |
Rest time. |
5.15pm - 5.30pm |
Family grouping re-commences. |
6.00pm |
Centre closes. |
